Ten Years is a video work of a decade (1990-2000) of action film explosions into one, thirteen-minute scene by making one long durational explosion through a group of edits. The work was installed without store knowledge to an unsuspecting public on every screen in a large electronics store in Berlin. I was attempting to install in a native environment for that work.
The installation ran until I was kicked out of the store. The notion was to give a viewer a loud multi-visual plethora of what they gravitate towards in those types of films, explosion after explosion.
